Garment Care & Dry Cleaning

Premium Dry Cleaning & Garment Care

Suits, silk dresses, wedding gowns and the jacket you spent real money on. We treat each one as a single job, not a number in a drum, and we tell you before we touch anything risky.

The Way We Clean

Slower process, sharper result

A cheaper clean is usually just a faster clean. We take the extra hour, and you see it on the collar.

Blemaro dry cleaning starts with an inspection under bright light. We map out stains before they go anywhere near solvent, because some marks need a pre-treatment and some need to be left alone until the fabric is dry. Once cleaned, garments come off the machine and go to a finishing bench where a person steams, presses and shapes them by hand. Buttons get checked, loose threads get trimmed, and anything that looks like it might have been damaged in the wash gets photographed and set aside for a call. Nothing leaves the shop until it has been looked at twice, once by the cleaner and once by whoever packs it.

  • Every garment is photographed on arrival so there can be no dispute later.
  • Delicate and beaded items are cleaned in a separate solvent drum with lower agitation.
  • Hand finishing uses vacuum tables rather than a single industrial press.

Who Works on Your Clothes

Finishers, not machine operators

Every garment passes a trained hand at least twice before it goes home with you.

Stain Chemistry First

Ink, wine, oil and protein marks all need different chemistry. We identify the stain type before applying anything, which is why so few come back.

Fabric Matching

If we are unsure how a fibre will behave, we clean a hidden seam first and check the result before touching the visible panels.

Hand-Finished Pressing

Suit shoulders, dress bodices and silk scarves are shaped by hand. A flat press ruins structure, so those pieces never go through one.

Built on one wedding dress

Years back a bride brought in her mother's gown with a 40-year-old tea stain on the hem. Most shops would have turned it away. We spent a fortnight on it, on and off, testing solvents on the seam allowance until one worked. She wore it. We have kept the test swatch framed on the wall ever since, mostly as a reminder that patience is the actual product.

From Drop-Off to Bag

Six careful passes over every garment

The sequence never changes, whether it is a school blazer or a couture gown.

01

Intake Inspection

We photograph your item, note existing wear, missing buttons and any tear, and print a tag that follows it through the shop.

02

Stain Diagnosis

Under a raking light we identify whether each mark is oil based, tannin based or protein based, because each one needs a different approach.

03

Solvent Selection

We choose between two solvents and set the machine cycle according to the fibre, colour fastness and trimming on the garment.

04

Hand Finishing

A finisher steams and shapes the piece on a vacuum table, working the collar, lapel and seams back into their original line.

05

Quality Review

A second person inspects the garment and either signs it off or sends it back for a spot clean.

06

Protected Return

It goes into a breathable bag, and if you collected it via our CBD drop point we will text you the moment it arrives.

Common Questions

Things worth knowing before you drop off

If your question is not here, ring the shop and ask for a real answer.

Usually yes, but set your expectations. Older organic stains on silk can leave a faint shadow even after careful treatment, and we will tell you what is likely before we start.

We do, through a specialist partner we have worked with for years. It gets assessed on arrival and separately quoted. We will not guess a price over the phone.

Twenty-eight days, in climate-controlled storage. After that you will get a text, and then a call, before anything is processed for disposal.

For a standard suit or a shirt, yes, if you drop it before ten in the morning. Specialist garments need more time and never qualify for same day.

We photograph everything at intake, so we can tell you honestly whether the fault pre-existed. If our process caused it, we cover repair or replace at fair market value.

Gowns and leather need a photo to quote properly. Attach one if you can.

Mention the fabric if you know it. It changes the advice we give.
