Blemaro is a laundry and dry cleaning business operating from Heritage Lanes, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia. What personal information we collect
We only collect what we need to run your order or manage your account.
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Pickup and delivery address, plus gate or loading dock access notes
- Order details such as garment types, linen weights, counts and special instructions
- Payment records, invoice history and any outstanding balance
- Messages you send us, including photos of stained or damaged items
We do not collect sensitive information such as health records, and we do not ask for identity documents unless a commercial account agreement specifically requires it.
Why we collect it
We use your information to schedule collections, prepare quotes, process payments, track your linen counts and answer enquiries. Where you have agreed, we also send occasional service updates about route changes or seasonal pricing. You can opt out of those updates at any time by replying to any message we send.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the people who help us run the service: our payment processor, our accounting software provider, and drivers on our own payroll. Where a job needs a specialist we do not have in house, such as leather or suede cleaning, we pass on the order details to that partner and nothing more.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years to meet Australian tax and accounting requirements. Account notes and access instructions are removed within twelve months of your final order. Photos taken for garment condition reports are deleted after ninety days.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.
